Vinyl Flooring
Vinyl flooring is a composite flooring option made from polyvinyl chloride (commonly known as PVC). Tiny pieces of PVC are heated and then laminated into thin layers that are bonded to create vinyl sheets. These sheets can be left whole or cut into tiles or planks. To match a variety of materials including wood, stone, and ceramic, vinyl flooring can be colored and textured.
Vinyl floor, also called luxury vinyl plank (LVP) or luxury vinyl floor (LVF), is simply vinyl flooring that comes in long, narrow strips rather than the traditional square tile shapes. It is much thicker than traditional sheet vinyl. That makes it semi-rigid.
Vinyl flooring is often compared to linoleum or laminate flooring, but both linoleum and laminate are made from all-natural materials, while vinyl is a fully synthetic material so it’s cheaper and more durable. Another benefit is that it’s easier to clean them. If you are interested in vinyl flooring, contact our team today
